Becoming a Catholic
A Journey of FaithThe Order of Christian Initiation for Adults includes the celebration of the sacraments of Baptism and/or Confirmation and Holy Eucharist. The initiation of adults into the Faith is a gradual process that takes place within the community of the faithful (the parishioners of Prince of Peace and the Universal Catholic Church).
Together with the catechumens in OCIA, we, the faithful, reflect upon the value of the Paschal mystery, renew our own conversion, and by our example, lead the catechumens to obey the Holy Spirit more generously.
The OCIA is a program designed for:- Adults who are not baptized wishing to become Catholic.
- Non-Catholics who are baptized in other faiths who would
- like to enter the Catholic Church.
- Baptized Catholic adults who have not completed their
- First Holy Communion and/or Confirmation.

Adult confirmationIf you are a Baptized Catholic, have received your First Holy Communion, and are 18 years of age or older, but have not been Confirmed, we have a program for you. The class will consist of eight weeks of instruction, meeting once a week. If you are interested in joining us, contact
