Life Scout, Joseph Perez, of Boy Scout Troop 410 has been inspired by the pandemic to reach out to people experiencing homelessness and the essential workers at Albertson's and the post office, to create cotton masks for them. Joseph felt these were peope being overlooked and is doing this for his Eagle Scout Project. This is a different sort of Eagle Project in that he is expediting everything to get his goal of 200 masks going out to his community and people experiencing homelessness by May 10th, 2020. The Boy Scouts of troop 410 have pulled toether to support him in reaching his goal and have amazingly used only resources at hand to obey the stay at home order! Joseph is an altar server at Prince of Peace and has been a part of troop 410, which is chartered by Prince of Peace, since 2015.
Boy Scout Troop 410, chartered in October 2005, is a dynamic Scout Troop at Prince of Peace. Troop 410 focuses on developing boys into active young men, enjoying the outdoors, with developed leadership skills, prepared to respond and lead as they mature and grow into adulthood.
